The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability.

Cantigny Park from 7:30 - 11:30 a.m.

  • 7:30 a.m. - Event Day Check-in and Registration Opens
  • 8:30 a.m. - Kids' Fun Run
  • 8:45 am. - Registration Closes
  • 9:00 a.m. - Timed 5k Begins
  • 9:05 a.m. - Untimed 5k Begins
  • 9:10 a.m. - 1 mile Walk Begins
  • 10 a.m. - Post-race Awards Ceremony Begins

Registration fees and donations cannot be refunded. Your fundraising dollars are put to work immediately and enable the Arthritis Foundation to continue critical programs and services in our community.

Packet Pickup

Friday, November 19 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Naperville Running Company, 102 W. Front Street, Wheaton, IL

*Pick up your race day t-shirt and bib number if you have already registered or stop by and register in person for the Jingle Bell Run.

Registration and Packet Pickup - We encourage everyone to register in advance, but walk-up registrations are welcome (both at packet pickup on Friday and at the event on Saturday). With your registration, everyone receives a participant shirt, a bib number and jingle bells for your shoes.

Event Day Details

  • Pre and post-race activities are conducted indoors. We will have food, water, and broadcast announcements outside for those who do not feel comfortable coming inside the venue.
  • Parking Information - Stop at the guard booth and let them know you are attending the Jingle Bell Run and the parking fee will be waived. Park in the North Lot, which is the closest to the Visitor Center.
  • Course Map - There are two routes (5k and 1-Mile). The 5k timed race will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. Please listen for announcements concerning your start time. • 5k timed • 5k untimed • 1-mile

There is also a kid’s fun run that will be held outside, prior to the other races. The start/finish line is the same for all runners/walkers. Attached is the course map with both the 5K and 1-Mile Route.

  • Finisher Medals - All participants will receive a finisher medal upon completion of the Jingle Bell Run 5k and 1 mile.
  • Top Finishers - Prizes are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers for the timed 5k.
  • Top Age Group Finishers - Medals are given to the top three male and top three female 5k timed finishers in each age group (top 3 male and female overall finishers are taken out of the age group division). The age groups are: 14 and under, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 – 79, 80+
  • Costume Contest - Prizes are given to team and individual winners.
  • Pets are not permitted at Cantigny Park.
  • Strollers are allowed but if you are using one please begin walking near the end of the pack.
  • Inclement Weather - The race will take place no matter rain or shine, snow or wind! Please dress according to the weather.
  • Arthritis Foundation Mission Area - Those of you living with Arthritis – our Arthritis Warriors – you are the reason we come together on Jingle Bell Run day. To honor and recognize you, we have several activities going on throughout the day. Please make sure to stop by the mission area to pick up some items we have especially for you, including an arthritis warrior decal and colored leis for you to wear that will represent that you have arthritis.
