Lori Reynolds
Warrior Engagement Chair

Lori is passionate about helping the Arthritis Foundation and those who suffer from this disease. After her diagnosis in September of 2018, she soon realized she wanted to be a part of the solution. She watched her grandmother suffer her entire life with rheumatoid arthritis. Three months after her own diagnosis, Lori lost nana but is grateful for that short time she had a confidant that fully understood everything she was going through. She hopes that her role will serve as a platform for recognizing arthritis warriors and for providing an enhanced experience for those who attend this year’s walk.

Zackary Terry
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Adult Honoree

Zack was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at age 6 after months of exhaustive testing. He struggled with simple tasks like opening jars or door handles and even keeping up with the other kids on the soccer field.

The Arthritis Foundation helped Zack connect with other kids with arthritis through activities like camp Juvenile Arthritis and Me. Zack went into remission at age 11 and has been passionate about serving with the Arthritis Foundation ever since. His mission is to help others with arthritis feel comfortable in their own skin and to advocate for others with hidden challenges.

Andrew Munday
Youth Honoree

Andrew Munday used to wake up in the middle of the night screaming from pain. He could not hold a basketball because his hands were so swollen, and he used a walking stick to move around. This experience changed Andrew. He started seeing a rheumatologist for treatment, and eventually achieved medicated remission. Andrew remains anxious, always wondering if his arthritis will return in full force. The Arthritis Foundation helped connect Andrew to other kids with his condition. Now, Andrew leads Zoom calls and group threads for Juvenile Arthritis Kids so they can support each other.

Gracie Joe
Hip Dysplasia and Arthritis
Dog Honoree

Gracie Joe is 3 years old and is a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepard mix. We rescued her and her sister from horrible conditions at 9 weeks old.

She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia as well as arthritis a little over a year ago. She has such a sweet disposition and just wants to be by my side. She is unable to keep up with her sister, which is so heartbreaking. We are working with her vet to help improve her symptoms and to give her the best quality of life possibly.
