Payton is a vibrant ten-year-old girl who you’d never guess has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). At first, she felt very alone and sad, but thanks to the amazing staff at the Arthritis Foundation she discovered there was an arthritis community full of support. Her family formed team Payton’s Prancer’s, at Jingle Bell Run to raise money and awareness for other families fighting this disease. Payton attends Camp MASH which is a Camp for kids with Juvenile Arthritis and where she has made so many friends. As the Youth Honoree, Payton hopes to raise awareness that Kids Get Arthritis Too. No child should have to live in pain.
