Dr. Michael Kent
Orthopedic Surgeon
Medical Honoree


Dr. Kent is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He attended medical school and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at University of Texas. His professional activity includes being the current physician of Houston Methodist Sports Medicine Team for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo .

“I hope to deliver a patient experience that exceeds expectations. I intend to restore function with the latest clinically relevant and evidence-based techniques that are available. I plan to get my patients back to their active, healthy lives as quickly and safely as possible,” says Dr. Kent.

Dr. Susan Mathew
Rheumatologist
Medical Honoree


A native of the Houston area, Dr. Mathew was thrilled when she was able to come back to her community and start her practice. “My ultimate goal is to help people achieve their functional goals and live a better quality of life”, said Dr. Mathew.

She completed her residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA and fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Both of which are clinical campuses of Temple University.

Dr. Mathew is active in multiple professional organizations including being a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, Texas Medical Association, and the Fort Bend Medical Society.
