Katie Maxwell Seropositive Polyarticular Arthritis Youth Honoree Jingle Bell Run 2020 Youth Honoree Katie Maxwell won’t let her arthritis stop her from getting her jingle on this winter. “I was a very active athlete, playing basketball, volleyball and running track. Then everything changed when I was diagnosed with Seropositive Polyarticular Arthritis at the age of 12. It’s been a long and challenging road, and while it will be a lifelong journey, I hope other kids will know that things can improve. Last month, I went running for the first time in two years.” Please join Katie by registering today in the Arthritis Foundation’s Michigan virtual run! |
