2020 Walk to Cure Arthritis Honorees

Lola Clark
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

The family knew something was wrong with their 2-year-old Lola when she struggled to get up and walk in the mornings.  After 3 doctor visits, many X-Rays and blood work, she was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) before Thanksgiving 2016.  She has since had surgery, almost a year of PT and is on weekly Enbrel injections to manage pain and swelling.

“She gets sad when she can’t run as fast because of the pain, but she doesn’t let arthritis stop her from being a happy 6-year-old!  She thinks it’s important that everyone tells their arthritis story to bring awareness and get the best help.” Mom-Holly Clark
