Lisa Buckley, MD
Vanderbilt
 Pediatric Rheumatology Honoree

Lisa Buckley, MD is a pediatric rheumatologist at Vanderbilt. She attended the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. Completed pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Buckley feels privileged to bring care to Murfreesboro and hopes this improves access to rheumatologic care in Middle Tennessee for children in need. She’s thankful for the warm welcome received from families and the Arthritis Foundation! Dr. Buckley and her husband, Ryan, stay busy keeping up with their 2-year-old daughter, Rose. Dr. Buckley loves SEC football, jigsaw puzzles, and nachos.

Linda Halbeck
Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis
 Adult Honoree

Linda has lived in Murfreesboro since she was 8 years old. A mom of 3 grown sons, 1 daughter & 11 grandchildren whom she loves to spend time with now that she is retired on disability after being a nurse for decades. Enjoys bird watching, reading, traveling and fishing with her husband Ken, although those activities have become more difficult of late. She has lost her mother and sister to autoimmune conditions and has Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis herself. Linda is dedicating her walk to her sister, Yvonne Dunaway, who passed away recently from Lupus at age 57.

Aubrie McCue
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Aubrie was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) when she was just 18 months old and has been an Arthritis Warrior ever since. Aubrie has tried various medications, including several sets of painful joint injections to control the JIA. The arthritis has jumped around from her eyes, jaw, knees and ankles. She’s now on Remicade and is doing well. She still has aches and pains and it’s hard for her to get going in the mornings with stiff joints, but she powers through it. A talented artist, active in gymnastics and tumbling. She doesn’t let JIA hold her back!

Finn
Top Dog Honoree

Meet Top Dog Finn, an adorable rescue and 8-year-old three-legged Mastiff mix with arthritis, who identifies as a lap dog. Finn enjoys relaxing massages, howling at the doorbell, letting his ears flap in the wind, and snuggling on the couch with his best friend Ella. They make a great pair and find comfort in one another. Ella Snyder, 10 years old, was diagnosed with arthritis in October 2019. Since then, Finn has always been available for belly rubs when Ella isn't pursuing her dream as a competitive gymnast. She enjoys art, video games, and hanging out with her dogs. Finn and Ella refuse to let arthritis slow them down. Arf-ritis is ruff! Join team Finn & Furrrends to make strides towards finding a cure for arthritis.
