Kaitlyn Roemer
Juvenile Arthritis
Teen Honoree

Kaitlyn is 16 and was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis (JA) when she was 5. My family knew immediately what it was because the previous year her twin sister was diagnosed.

Her wrists, knees and ankles are the joints that are most affected and she was also diagnosed with Uveitis.

She used to take a lot of medicine for her JA, but now she only needs it when she has a flare up.

Her family has received tremendous support from the Arthritis Foundation and she invites you to donate or join us on May 16, 2020 to virtually walk together to find a cure for everyone who suffers from arthritis, but especially all of the 300,000 children with juvenile arthritis.

Hannah Roemer
Juvenile Arthritis
Teen Honoree

Hannah is 16 and was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis (JA) when she was 4. Her family found it unbelievable, kids don’t get arthritis! But soon they learned that 300,000 children suffer from JA. Hanna’s knees and ankles are both affected and she was also diagnosed with Uveitis.

Hannah has been on and off steroids her entire life, including getting weekly shots. She can’t even remember life without arthritis.

Hannah wants to find a cure for arthritis so that in the future, no children will have to suffer from stiffness, inflammation or pain from daily life activities.

Please consider joining us on our virtual walk on May 16, 2020 or donating to help the Arthritis Foundation to find a cure for arthritis!

Your donation will help find a cure for arthritis, fund groundbreaking research and allow children to live without constant pain. By participating in our virtual walk you can show your support for the children afflicted by juvenile arthritis.
