Dr. David Rodricks

Dr. David Rodricks is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement and revision. He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and followed with a fellowship in Lower Extremity Reconstruction at Scripps Clinic.

Dr. Rodricks is the Clinical Care Joint Director for Ocean Medical Center. He has a particular focus on rapid recovery programs, and performs outpatient joint replacements on healthy, active patients. His first priority, however, is returning his patients to their active lifestyles safely.

Julianna Jones
Teen Honoree  

Julianna is thirteen years old and was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and uveitis when she was two years old. Julianna loves playing softball and going on roller coasters. Although JIA can affect her performance in daily routines, like gym and walking to the bus stop, she's determined to live her best life. She is grateful for all the medication discoveries made by professionals and for Camp CHAT that taught her how to cope with her disease. Julianna says "in the darkest times, tell yourself, the bad days are often followed by the best. Don’t quit!"

Adriana Fahmy
Youth Honoree  

Adriana is a vivacious 5 year old who was diagnosed with polyarticular psoriatic arthritis one month after her 5th birthday. With 8 joints affected,she was barely able to walk without severe pain. Despite daily challenges, Adriana chooses to live life to the fullest. She loves to dance, cheer, swim, bake and everything in between!

Adriana continues to inspire people through her determination, perseverance, and infectious personality. With the right treatment plan and healthy diet, she is working her way towards pain-free days. Adriana’s look on life is inspired by the words of Coach Rob Mendez, “WHO SAYS I CAN’T!”
