PACKET PICK UP - Join us and get your official Jingle Bell Run shirt, bib and jingle bells before event day. If you have a large team let us know ahead of time and we can have it all ready for you to pick up! Call the AF office at: 813-305-0782. Early packet pick -up is at Jack Rabbit- Hyde Park - 1607 W. Swann Ave. Tampa, Thurs., Dec. 5th from 4-8pm

Directions: George M. Steinbrenner Field is located off of Dale Mabry Hwy. and W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. It is across from Raymond James stadium and adjacent to Hillsborough Community College.

Parking Information: Complimentary parking is available at the George M. Steinbrenner Field main parking lot. Please plan on arriving to the event on time, once the race begins, no cars will be permitted in or out of the parking lot until the race is completed.

Event Timeline
7:30am- Registration Opens & Festivities Begin
7:30-8:45am- Costume Contest Entry
8:30am- Warm Up & Opening Ceremonies
9:00am- 5K Timed Race Starts on the field at the Arch
9:05am- 5K Untimed & 1 Mile Starts on the field at the Arch.
9:15am- Post-Race Party- Music by DJ Ryan- Generations Fused with Music, food, beer (21+ with proper ID), kid’s zone with many activities, visit with Santa, Elsa & Anna, silent auction, and much more!
10:00am- Winners Announced 10:15am- Kid’s Dash
10:30am- Silent Auction Closes

Registration Instructions: Registration will open at 7:30am on event day morning. You will need to come to registration if 1) you have donations to turn in, 2) you have not registered online already and you need to fill out a registration form – the cost for registering the day of the event is $45 for adults and $25 for kids. 3) If you have registered and have not yet picked up your t-shirt, bib, and jingle bells.

Complimentary Food: Coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts (courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts), Apple Dippers (courtesy of Casper’s Company/McDonald’s), bananas (courtesy of Fresh Point), Fruit Bars (courtesy of Ekoa), and gluten free muffins (courtesy of Sweet Tomatoes). There will be beer available after the run for participants over 21 (please bring ID). Of course, there will also be plenty of bottled water (courtesy of CVS, WaWa and Karma Marketing), Gatorade/Propel and Protein Bars (courtesy of PepsiCo).

Top Team Tailgate: Teams who raised $2,000 or more will celebrate their accomplishments and have a reserved space in the Team Tailgate area. If you think your team will reach $2,000 and you haven’t already, please contact [email protected] to reserve your space.

Costume Contest and Awards: Stop by the costume contest table from 7:30-8:45am to be entered in the holiday costume contest! Categories will include Best Individual or Duo, Best Team costume, and best stroller or wheelchair. Fun prizes and winners awarded following the run! All participants will receive a finisher medal at the event! Overall male and female and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group will receive fun awards and prizes. The current top five teams will be recognized with awards and prizes as well. Final team prizes will be awarded after the first of the year and you have until 12/31 to turn in all funds. All participants raising $250 will qualify for great incentive prizes. Check them out them out here!

Silent Auction: Check out the awesome gift items including the opportunity to bid on 2 seats in a luxury suite with food & drinks at the LA Lakers vs. Orlando Magic game on 12/11, two roundtrip JetBlue tickets, trips & hotel stays, wine and liquor baskets, local attractions, children’s toys, jewelry, wine tastings, and much more! Start your holiday shopping and help support the Arthritis Foundation! 

Kid’s Zone: The kids will have a great time at the event in the amazing Kid’s Zone. Come meet and take photos with Santa, meet Anna & Elsa from Frozen and the Tampa Yankees mascot, Blue! Kids can take part in over 10 activities including letter writing to Santa, holiday cookie decorating, holiday crafts, face painting, temporary tattoos, caricature artists, games, prizes, and a Kids Dash for ages 8 and under at 10:15am! All kids participating in the Kid’s Dash will receive a certificate and prize. 

Activities: Photo Booth with holiday props will be available for participants to take fun photos behind Home Plate. Be sure to stop by all of the sponsor tables as well- many of them have fun giveaways and if you complete the sponsor passport you will be entered to win a prize! (Pick up your sponsor passports at registration and turn in your completed passport at the Silent Auction to be entered to win).

Warrior Winter Wonderland: We invite all of our Arthritis Warriors to stop by the Warrior Winter Wonderland tent! Be sure to complete your Warrior Wish on a snowflake and proudly display on the Warrior tree. Warrior caregivers can share their wish as well! Come and have some hot cocoa and cookies with our Connect Groups while learning about the Live Yes! Arthritis Network, visit with our Advocacy Angels, meet the Educational Elves and check out the Jolly Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Corner! Gather important Arthritis information to help you live your best life!

Entertainment: Our DJ, Ryan, with Generations Fused with Music will keep the morning entertaining and fun! Before the race get warmed up with Camp Gladiator, sing our National Anthem with Lily Robles and enjoy the holiday caroling with “The Gospel Apostles”!

The Jingle Bell Run will be held rain or shine. We do not have the ability to reschedule the event.
