Adillen Pena
Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Adillen is a 14-year old little beauty that was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis three years ago. One day she woke up and was unable to get out of bed. She ended up spending two weeks in the hospital and after 3 months of specialist appointments, was finally diagnosed. The arthritis is mostly in her hips, knees and feet; although, it's starting to affect her hands and wrists occasionally. She's her families’ hero!!  Even though she is in constant pain and/or discomfort, she always does her best.  So, on top of the normal teenage stuff, she deals with this also but with a full warrior attitude. She's a sweet, caring, loving young lady and loves to attend Camp Cruz and Camp ILA! The Jingle Bell Run is super important to her because she understands that it helps tremendously in helping children like her to be able to attend camp and be able to meet and bond with others that know exactly what she is going through!

Join Adillen in her fight against arthritis, register or donate today!
