Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Schedule
- Location: This year’s Walk will take place at Sandia Casino and Resort – our event will be located in the SE corner of the parking area adjacent to the golf course and walking trails
- Parking: Event day parking is available for FREE. There is a parking lot next to the walking path area, which should provide ample parking for participants.
- Pre-Walk Festivities: This year’s Walk will feature complimentary snacks and water, face painting, games, community resources, and more!
- Dogs: Due to the location of the walk through the Sandia Golf course, no dogs are allowed at the walk.
- Earn a T-shirt and other prizes: Raise $100 or more to receive a Walk to Cure Arthritis t-shirt. Other prizes available at higher fundraising levels. If you plan to turn in money the morning of the Walk, please convert any cash donations into a check or money order. Remember, all donations to the Arthritis Foundation are 100% tax-deductible!
- Awards will be given to: Top Fundraising Team, Top Fundraising Individual, and Largest Team.
- Inclement Weather: Unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate. In the event of inclement weather, we will post any cancellations or postponements on our Walk to Cure Arthritis Facebook Group. We will also make every effort to call all volunteers. Please DO NOT check the website, as we don’t have the ability to update that in a timely fashion.
- Social Media: Be sure to like our Facebook page (Arthritis Foundation New Mexico), and don’t forget to hashtag all Walk-related photos with #WalktoCureArthritisNM.
- Donations: If you must turn in money the morning of the Walk, please convert any cash donations into a check or money order for the safety and security of all those involved. Online donations can be made at www.walktocurearthritis.org/newmexico.
