Adeline Beach Juvenile Polyarticular Arthritis & Uveitis Teen Honoree In 2015 Addie was diagnosed with a rare childhood disease, uveitis, linked to juvenile arthritis, which caused severe eye inflammation. Timely diagnosis saved her from potential blindness. Subsequent medical visits revealed juvenile polyarticular arthritis affecting five or more joints. As a result of these diagnoses, Addie has a daily regimen of medications and eye drops. Despite trying numerous treatments over the years, she is yet to find a combination that effectively treats her Uveitis.
