Community Champion Honoree

Kate’s journey with the Arthritis Foundation began in 2004 when she was initiated into Alpha Omicron Pi. Since then, she has participated in multiple Walks for Arthritis, Strike Out Arthritis Events, and the Jingle Bell Run. Kate began working closely with the Foundation in 2016 when she became the philanthropy chair for her local AOII Alumnae Chapter. With her innovative ‘Party with a Purpose’ cocktail and silent auction evening, Kate and AOII raised over $8,000 for the Arthritis Foundation. Kate then went on to serve as Board Chair of Arthritis Foundation Indiana and event chair of the 2019 Bone Bash. She’s excited to continue to raise awareness for this worthy cause as the 2022 Community Champion Honoree!
