COVID Safety Information

We recognize that the situation with COVID continues to evolve on an almost daily basis. We take our participants and supporter’s health very seriously and we are continuing to monitor CDC guidance and local authorities and will be updating our event safety protocols on an ongoing basis.

Per the CDC’s latest guidelines, we are asking that all participants and volunteers wear a mask at our events.

If you or a member of your household has any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.

Your Safety is Our Number One Priority
The COVID-19 virus and its variants are highly contagious. Some people infected with these viruses get severely ill, become hospitalized or die. Event attendees acknowledge the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus and the Arthritis Foundation shall not be held liable.

 

ADDITIONAL COVID PRECAUTIONS AT THE EVENT:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations will be necessary to enter the event.
  • The entire event will be held outdoors with no enclosed areas.
  • Masks/face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times in all Expo areas including registration, vendor booths, team gathering, restrooms, etc.

  • One entrance point will be utilized for check-in with as much space between check-in points as possible (at least 6 feet).,/li>
  • We are encouraging social distancing

  • Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the event area.

  • Food will be provided in “take as you go” bags. All volunteers preparing the food bags will be required to wear gloves, and most items will be prepackaged (food items, like bananas or apples won’t be pre-packaged, but will be handled by volunteers wearing gloves).
  • Only bottled water will be available at the event. You may bring your own personal, enclosed water bottle if you prefer.
