COVID Safety Information

We recognize that the situation with COVID continues to evolve on an almost daily basis. We take our participants and supporter’s health very seriously and we are continuing to monitor CDC guidance and local authorities and will be updating our event safety protocols on an ongoing basis.

Per the CDC’s latest guidelines, we are asking that all participants and volunteers wear a mask at our events.

If you or a member of your household has any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.

Your Safety is Our Number One Priority
The COVID-19 virus and its variants are highly contagious. Some people infected with these viruses get severely ill, become hospitalized or die. Event attendees acknowledge the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus and the Arthritis Foundation shall not be held liable.

 

ADDITIONAL LOCAL COVID PRECAUTIONS AT THE EVENT:

Outdoor events with over 500 people including sporting events, concerts and performances are required to receive proof of vaccination or negative covid test for participation.

Fully vaccinated means:

That a person has received all the required doses of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine (two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine). WHO-authorized COVID-19 vaccine series, and 14 days have passed since the final dose."

Accepted proofs of vaccination:

  • Photo of Vaccination Card
  • Vaccination Card
  • Printed record from vaccine provider
  • Record from MyIRMobile.com or other provider

Accepted proofs of negative test result:
Print or digital documentation from:

  • Pharmacy
  • Laboratory
  • Testing provider
  • FDA-approved PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours
