A personal note from race organizers Jim and Amy DeCesare

Welcome to our page and thank you for your interest in the Jingle Bell Run! We are so excited to bring this race back to Bowling Green. Some of you may remember that we organized this event here from 2002 through 2005.

Our family felt compelled to do something to contribute to arthritis research shortly after our daughter Brooke was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of four in 2001. She has had a long journey with the disease and still takes medication to this day at the age of 24. Jim also suffers from ankylosing spondylitis, a form of arthritis he was diagnosed with at the age of 19. As you can see, this is a family affair and very personal to us.

All of us, including our son Justin and our son-in-law Cooper, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. We can’t wait for you to come and jingle with us on Saturday, November 20 at Ephram White Park. Santa will be there and you should be too!
