Jillian Soto
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Adult Honoree

Jillian has had a life-long journey of battling first juvenile arthritis, then many other forms of arthritis, including eye diseases that can stem from rheumatoid arthritis (RA). She has had countless surgeries and treatments but has not let that stop her. She’s been married for almost 20 years and is raising 2 incredible kids. Her life is very full and she credits much of that to the Arthritis Foundation and the support they have offered over the years. Knowing there are other people that know exactly what she is going through has made it possible to keep her head up and persevere, while also trying to help others going through similar situations.

Noor Mchallah
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Young Adult Honoree

Noor has been battling arthritis since she was 2 years old. Through ups and downs, she has persevered. She attended JA Camp for 5 years in an effort to connect with individuals her age who also had juvenile arthritis. Through that experience, she found her passion for youth advocacy, highlighting that a chronic illness like JA can in fact affect children, but does not need to take over their lives. As the Young Adult Honoree for the Jingle Bell Run in Miami, Noor is committed to spreading awareness by telling her story and fundraising in support of the Arthritis Foundation and to help find a cure

Haven Rose Punongbayan
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Haven was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at the age of 3. Three months prior to being diagnosed, she could only sit or lay down because of the amount of pain she was in. She missed out on playing at school or enjoying a day at the park. With the help of her favorite doctor and her family, she started medical treatment with the hope of remission. She is now 6 years old and full of energy. She enjoys coloring, dancing, and singing. She looks forward to meeting and socializing with other children who can relate. She is excited to serve as this year’s youth honoree of the 2021 Jingle Bell Run Miami.
