Benjamin Simanis
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Child Honoree

Ben says, “my legs hurting is very challenging because it makes it hard to walk around school all day. I still like being at school though. I like being with other kids and learning new things.”

Ben’s parents hope is that he has a happy childhood with his pain controlled. They don’t want him to feel limited in his options.

Ben’s wishes are simple. He wants to play more sports. When he grows up he wants to be a farmer so he can play in the dirt all the time. And most importantly, he wants everyone with arthritis to get better.
