Eddie Applegate Psoriatic Arthritis Adult Honoree Over 15 years ago, after years of years of pain and stiffness, I went to a doctor where I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. I never knew that my skin condition and arthritis were or even could be related. It took time for doctors to get my condition under control. During this time, I suffered from a lot of pain and stiffness from the arthritis and redness and pain from my psoriasis. Finally, medication got everything under control. Family, friends, and coworkers noticed quickly, and I felt I had a new lease on life. This is why I walk and why I volunteer. I want others to be able to experience relief. I want research to find better ways to treat our disease so others can experience a new lease on life as well. To support Eddie you can join his team or make a donation here. |
