Dr. Anay R. Patel , MD

Dr. Anay R. Patel, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement. He provides expert care to his patients by using the latest advanced treatments and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Patel has been involved with the Arthritis Foundation in many ways such as presenting at education programs and promoting our resources to patients.

Dean Myers

Dean Myers, one half of the  “Dean and Rog” Morning show has been waking up Houstonians for the last 23 years. Dean’s journey with Rheumatoid Arthritis began in 2016 at the age of 54. The aches and pains came on slowly and like most stubborn men, he tried to ignore it. Eventually, the pain became more severe and he wised up and sought treatment. He made an appointment with rheumatologist, Dr. Chimata, in Katy, TX. After a few months and the right combination of medications, Dean’s RA is currently in remission.
