Are there fundraising incentives?

Absolutely!

Do I need to be a serious runner to do this?

Nope. This is a fun run for anyone with all the bells and whistles serious runners are looking for. We welcome both the serious runner (our 5K course is USATF certified and medals are given for categories below) and to anyone who just wants to have fun. Run, walk, or wheel; however you want to jingle.

This year we have a 1 Mile Option to better serve those with arthritis or disabilities of any kind!

Weather

This event will be held rain or shine except in the case of severe weather (i.e. thunder, snow storm, hail, ice). The safety of our participants and vendors is our utmost priority: in the event of cancellation, all registered participants will be emailed and all team captains will be called. Also check our Facebook pages, @ArthritisOhio and the Jingle Bell Run Columbus event page. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. Your registration is a 100% donation and you will receive a tax letter.

Can I run with a jogging stroller? My dog?

Jogging strollers are allowed. Waggers are welcome (they get arthritis too!), but must stay outdoors at all times. In-line skates, skateboards, bikes and all other pets are NOT permitted.

When should I show up?

The festivities start at 8:00AM, and we encourage you to party with us, but you will want to be parked by at least 9:30 so you do not miss the start of the race at 10:00AM! Parking at COSI can take some time so, plan accordingly!

Where should I park?

We suggest you AVOID the surface lot on Belle! Use the Scioto Peninsula Underground Garage Parking

The most convenient parking nearest to COSI is the City of Columbus’ underground garage immediately west of COSI, managed by LAZ Parking. Payment is accepted at LAZ Pay-On-Foot stations located on the ground level of the garage elevator lobby or inside COSI near the Guest Services Desk. Cash and credit card payments are accepted. Please obtain a parking discount stamp at the COSI Box Office and pay for garage parking at a LAZ Pay-On-Foot station before returning to your vehicle.

There are also meters around COSI that you can use for street parking. These meters are mostly limited to 3 hours.
