Welcome Jo’s Jinglers! Once again, we are rallying our teams across the nation in support of the Arthritis Foundation’s work to find better treatments and a cure for arthritis.
My journey with arthritis began at the young age of 7 when I first had symptoms of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). Arthritis can be difficult to diagnose, especially in children. My symptoms began 2 years before diagnosis and most of my joint damage occurred during this time before I began receiving treatment. Today, the arthritis is under control (for the most part) thanks to much more effective medications and a hip and an ankle replacement, even though the long-term damage to my joints causes increasing limitations and pain.
This year will mark the 29th year that we are participating in the Jingle Bell Run and our team goal is $29,000! Join us this year and continue jingling to find a cure! You can also form a Jo's Jingler's team at your local Jingle Bell Run - register or donate today
